Pure Silence

How can silence be of pure nature?

Is it stoned? It is stilled?

It is held against its will?

Can silence be captured? Or adorned?

The latter, its sacred side

Amidst the layered fog of which is peace

Invisible to the secular world

visible by sanity

to be paid with strength

To achieve peace is no easy task

To breathe evenly is something that is earned

by few that are chosen

or more wise

or rather, content

armoured with the gift of its greatest love

Missing is

pure silence

in me
